Senior Living & Community Partners

Creative wellness and non-medical non-clinical support programs, that complement your community.

Spruce Art & Support partners with senior living communities, independent living residences, and community organizations to offer inclusive, creative wellness experiences and thoughtful non-medical support.

Our programs are designed to enhance engagement, connection, and quality of life while fitting seamlessly alongside existing services and care teams.

Our services are flexible and can be adapted to suit the needs, structure, and preferences of each community.

Community Creative Wellness Programs

Our Community Creative Wellness sessions provide residents and participants with opportunities to connect, create, and engage in a calm, welcoming environment.

Sessions May Include:

  • Guided art activities (painting, drawing, mixed media, journaling)

  • Emphasis on creativity, relaxation, and shared experience

  • Inclusive and sensory considerate facilitation

  • No art experience required

Programs are designed to be accessible, engaging, and enjoyable for a wide range of abilities.

Program Formats

We offer flexible programming options, including:

  • One time introductory workshops

  • Weekly or bi-weekly sessions

  • Short creative series (4–6 weeks)

  • Seasonal or themed programming

All programs are non-medical and non-clinical, and are intended to complement existing activity calendars rather than replace staff led programming.

Why Partner with Spruce Art & Support

Communities choose to work with us because we offer:

  • Clear non-medical boundaries

  • Professional, reliable facilitation

  • Person-first, respectful approach

  • Creative programming that encourages participation

  • Flexible scheduling and collaboration

We work closely with coordinators to ensure programs align with community goals and resident interests.

Beyond Group Programming

In some cases, families within your community may also inquire about additional, individualized support.

Spruce Art & Support can provide separate, privately arranged in-home services for residents or community members when appropriate. These services are arranged directly with families and are independent of community programming.

What We Do and What We Don’t Do

For clarity:

We provide:

✔ Creative wellness programming

✔ Group-based art sessions

✔ Non-medical engagement and support

We do not provide:

✘ Medical or clinical services

✘ Personal care or nursing support

✘ Medication-related services

This ensures clear alignment with care teams and regulatory expectations.

Let’s Talk About Your Community

We believe the best programs are built through conversation.

If you’re an activity coordinator, community manager, or organization interested in exploring creative wellness programming, we’d be happy to discuss options that suit your space and residents.
